Hi, I’m Marnie, the floral artist behind Poppy’s Getting Married. I am a Geelong based floral studio specialising in floral and botanical design for weddings and events.

I love to design non-traditional, wild and abundant blooms, inspired by nature and the changing of the seasons. ​I am passionate about sustainability and sourcing locally grown flowers. I am always looking for ways to make my business more eco-conscious.

I love weddings that are personal; more about celebrating who the couple are, rather than outdated traditions. I am so excited that marriage equality has finally been realised in this country! 

The tune that is most likely to get me on the dance floor at a wedding is 'Dancing On My Own’ Robyn or ‘Dancing in the Dark’ Bruce Springsteen. I love a good G & T, although who can go past a champagne tower at a wedding! My favourite part of a wedding is when it's announced that the couple are officially married, they're beaming and everyone is on their feet cheering. 

I travel far and wide for weddings and events. While I have recently relocated to Geelong and enjoy working locally on the Bellarine Peninsula and Surf Coast, I still service all of Melbourne and enjoy flowering all around the state.
